WALKERS: Dogs must be exercised daily exercised daily to stay healthy and happy. This job is great for anyone who wants to bond with dogs and get in shape!
GROOMERS: GSD's are known for their thick and luscious coats. Groomers help to keep them clean and fresh. After all, who doesn't love a sparkly clean Shepherd?
PHOTOGRAPHERS: This job is great for anyone interested in taking pictures. Good pictures are very beneficial to the dogs as they provide a way for people to see them on websites or pictures.
DRIVERS: Drivers help us by taking dogs to appointments and picking them up from the shelter. This is an easy way to get involved in our organization.
THE MAINTENANCE TEAM: As painful as cleaning is, it's one of the most important jobs at our rescue. Our rescue insists that the dogs stay in area that are clean enough for people to live in- the maintenance team ensures that.
ADVERTISERS: Advertisers ensure that people know about EDCGSR's events. They help us to sell tickets, calendars and make sure the public knows about our events.
TRAINERS: Training dogs is extremely important and something we love to do at the rescue. GSD's are very smart dogs that need mental stimulation. This is a great job for anyone with patience and persistence.
FUNDRAISERS: Our rescue runs on donations. Fundraisers ensure that our rescue has enough money to give our dogs the treatment they deserve. This job is meant for anyone with good ideas and time!
Any job that entails the direct handling or care of a dog or dogs requires a 2 hour orientation
